Download Hahnemühle ICC Profiles

ICC profiles help to improve the quality of your printing by maximising the gamut of colours reproduced by your printer. The Hahnemühle range includes Matt FineArt – Smooth, Matt FineArt – Texture, Glossy FineArt, Canvas Fine Art and Photo surfaces. You can download generic ICC profiles for most printer and media combinations by following the steps below.

1. Navigate to https://www.hahnemuehle.com/en/digital-fineart/icc-profile/download-center.html
2. Select the manufacturer of your printer from the Printer Manufacturer drop down menu
3. Select the model of your printer from the Printer drop down menu
4. Select the range that your Hahnemühle media belongs to from the Paper Group drop down menu
5. Click on the name of your media to add it to the download list
6. Navigate to the download list and click Download ZIP file
7. The ZIP file will download to your downloads folder, navigate to this and extract the files for installation on your computer

Hahnemühle include handling instructions with every ICC profile download – refer to this document for guidelines on how to instal your ICC profile as well as the settings recommended by Hahnemühlewhen printing on that media with your printer model.

The profiles available to download from Hahnemühle are known as generic profiles as they do not take into account your local settings such as monitor calibration. We have found these profiles be sufficient for most situations, they do produce better colour matching to our screens than letting the printer control the colours. However, we do find that sometimes we need to make slight colour adjustments in Adobe Photoshop to get the exact result we want from our prints. If you download a profile from the Hahnemühle website and do not get the results expected, you may need to make some slight edits to your image file. Alternatively you might benefit from using a custom profile which takes into account all of your local settings.
