Available in lengths from 8” (20.3cm) up to 60” (152.4cm) GOframe 1500 Pro Stretcher Bars are a great option for creating photographic or fine art displays. These stretcher bars are made from the best grades of North American Basswood which is the wood of choice for most museum quality stretcher bars. Ideal for preserving the archival qualities required for selling fine art print editions.

Each bar measures 20mm thick, which is similar to most pro stretcher bars on the market. When complete the edge of your canvas will measure 1.5” (3.81cm), creating a deep edge display. As these pro bars have a deep edge, frames made from shorter lengths are able to stand alone on surfaces without the need for additional support. Larger sizes may benefit from the addition of a centre brace bar for additional stability before hanging on the wall.

The two different construction methods available for making these frames means that you can use a heavy weight canvas (with glue method) or a lightweight canvas (without glue method). We have tested GOframe 1500 Pro Stretcher Bars with a range of canvas weights from 240gsm up to 380gsm and have had great results every time.
