Why use an ICC profile?

An ICC profile will ensure you get the most accurate and consistent colour match on inkjet papers and canvas. This is particularly important in a large production environment, where you need to guarantee that the print will look identical every time, whether it is the first or last one of the edition. An ICC Profile’s job is to tell the printer being used the correct colours to put down for that particular colour or texture of paper. Remember that as each paper is slightly different in base colour and surface texture, and every printer uses different ink formulations, you will need a separate profile for each paper and printer combination that you use.
