It is really important to select a media setting suitable for the paper you are using, even if you are not printing with ICC profiles. The Olmec media settings guide gives a general outline of media settings to use for each paper in the Olmec range on Canon, Epson and HP printer models. Even if you are not using a printer from one of these manufacturers, it is still a handy reference and could save a lot of wasted prints through trial and error.
Inappropriate handling of inkjet photo papers can cause problems in the quality of your finished prints. The Olmec print and handling guide gives a few general pointers on handling paper for printing as well as the storage of finished prints.
These guides are a great place to start if you are new to using the Olmec range of inkjet photo papers. Or even if you need a little reminder of what settings to use.
